Conflict Resolution Services

FutureGuides, LLC consultants provide ongoing team conflict and
performance improvement services. The I.D.E.A.™ process addresses the
impact of conflict caused by communication and style differences in
small teams. Past participants in the I.D.E.A.™ process report
substantive and procedural satisfaction because they are actively
engaged in the resolution effort. Through a series of facilitated
individualized and joint sessions, the participants generate the issues,
agree upon realistic solutions, and commit themselves to a focused and
sustainable plan for interpersonal change.
Don’t allow conflicts and unresolved disputes to affect employee
morale, or diminish the productivity of your team. Call us for solutions
that last.
FutureGuides, LLC also provides negotiation and mediation services
for resolution of legal and interpersonal disputes outside the
workplace. FutureGuides provides a licensed attorney with
eight years of experience in employment law, wills and probate law, and
general business. If you have a legal
dispute that you do not wish to litigate, but for which you need
negotiation and resolution services, please give us a call.
Respectful Workplace Management

As the workplace becomes more diverse, the need for greater
flexibility and respect for differences has become a core competency
in many organizations. The ability to demonstrate respectful behavior
is key to building cooperative teams, generating creativity and
innovation, motivating new talent, and maintaining a competitive edge.
The goal of this professional development workshop is to improve each
participant’s ability to work successfully with anyone,
regardless of background, job status or any other difference, by
developing respectful workplace management skills.
The individual and group exercises invite participants to explore
everything from the impact of “noise” caused by prior experiences, to
conflicts created by differences in cultural norms. The course also
considers the impact of cultural myths, communication skills and the
role of respect in the workplace.
Respectful Workplace Management is an interactive course. Participants
are actively involved in shaping the direction and tenor of the
coursework, examples and emphasis of the class. Throughout the course,
participants are reminded that the classroom is a “safe place” to
discuss feelings and concerns about respect without fear of reprisal.
Individualized Diversity Educational Assistance Program (I.D.E.A.™)

I.D.E.A.™ is an acronym for Individualized Diversity
Educational Assistance. I.D.E.A.™ is specifically designed to address
conflicts that implicate one or more dimensions of diversity.
Participants address the impact of conflict caused by differences in
language, for example, or differences in cultural norms about the role
of women, or differences in communication or conflict resolution styles.
Participants in the I.D.E.A.™ process have explored a variety of
conflict issues, including issues of respect for diversity, respect for
opinions, and respect for values and beliefs.
The I.D.E.A.™ process is a collaborative conflict resolution model.
The methodology includes individualized interviews, joint sessions,
facilitated discussions and collaborative development of the issues and
the solutions. Sessions are generally two – six hours in length, and all
are governed by a conditional confidentiality rule to allow for greater
sharing and risk-taking by the participants.
The I.D.E.A.™ process may include a team as large as 40 people, or as
small as 2 people. No dispute is too large or too small for
FutureGuides, LLC.
